A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Transport Planner to join our team at our Gloucester site.
This is a full-time role working Monday to Friday 10.00 - 20.00 (£12.98 p/h and £14.98 p/h overtime)
Daily duties include:
- Manage and plan the daily workload for the drivers
- Communicate and direct drivers for loading and unloading.
- Build relationships with customers.
- Provide accurate routing information.
- Collection and processing of paperwork
- Ensure that all current legislation and regulations are adhered to.
Who are we looking for?
The successful Transport Planner will have the experience, skill, and flexible attitude to take on this role and thrive.
- Experience within a traffic planning role is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate across all levels, in a professional and polite manner.
- IT literate.
- Thorough understanding of transport regulations, including drivers’ hours and working time.
