Customer Service Update - Kent

SERVICE UPDATE – KENT DISRUPTION

As we have previously advised customers the transport industry continues to struggle with the HGV driver shortage and sustained high volumes of pallets which is placing increasing pressure on the ability to maintain delivery levels.

As a result of this we must advise customers that deliveries into the Kent area of the country are experiencing severe service delays with delivery times being extended by 48-36 hours

Postcodes affected - BN  ME  TN

Freightroute would like to reassure customers that we will make all efforts to maintain deliveries but as stated there will inevitably be a drop in service levels and a higher than usual amount of delivery failures over the coming weeks and we ask that customers consider this when planning despatches

All of our depot teams are working hard to provide the best possible services under extremely challenging conditions, and we would ask for your the continued support and patience as we move through this difficult period.
